We’ve just rolled out a new update to the LottieFiles for After Effects plugin, packed with quality-of-life improvements and a couple of new features that make your animation workflow more seamless than ever.

We’ve also made it easier to share animations directly from your workspace with a one-click copy link. And if you’re publishing to the LottieFiles community, we’ve got good news—publishing no longer counts against your 10-download limit, so you can share your work publicly without worry.

• Share animations with one click - Hit the 🔗 link icon in the Workspace to instantly copy and share a direct animation link.

• Publish animations to community - You can now publish your animation to the LottieFiles public community directly from the plugin. Upload your animation, get recognized!

  
  

🔧 Improvements

• Smart navigation flow - Now when you take an action (like login), you’ll return to the same tab you were previously on—whether it’s Explore, Workspace, or Import.

• New large file warning - while uploading a heavy Lottie over 100kb, a helpful warning modal lets you continue or cancel—no surprises.

🪲 Bug fixes

• Fixed UI glitch with gradient fade previews, longer UI Texts are now truncates properly.

• Pagination bugs are fixed when exploring with keywords — you’ll stay on the right page.
