What's New

Finding the right layer in a large file is now much faster, and nested structures are easier to read at a glance.

• Layer picker search: The matte and parent layer pickers in the timeline, and the Matte Layer select in the property panel, now include a search input.

  • Filter layers by name instead of scrolling once there are more than eight.

  • Selecting a layer, clearing a matte and clearing a parent all work from the keyboard.

• Outliner hierarchy lines: The outliner now shows hierarchy lines with plus/minus boxes and leaf dots, so nested layer structure is clear at a glance.

Also included:

• Expand all: Expand all, from the outliner button or its keyboard shortcut, now also opens animated property rows under shape layers in the timeline.

Enhancements

• Welcome modal: Press Esc to close the Creator 2.0 welcome modal.

• Editor icons: The editor now uses the design system icon set.

Stability & Bug Fixes

• Fixed locked timeline tracks showing move and resize cursors, even though locked tracks can't be moved or trimmed.

• Fixed changing a shape's colour with the eye-dropper also resetting its opacity on the canvas.

• Resolved an issue where irrelevant layer actions stayed visible during pick whip on long, scrollable layer lists.

• Fixed the selected option not scrolling into view when opening a filterable matte or parent picker.
