What's New

Scenes no longer have to begin at frame 0, and getting around the timeline and menus takes fewer clicks.

• Scene start frame: Use the new Start field to begin a scene at any frame, not just frame 0.

• Context menu filter: Large context menus now include a filter input that also matches actions inside submenus.

Also included:

• Double-click to open: Double-click a timeline track to open its nested scene or expand the layer.

• Escape behavior in menus: Pressing Escape closes the menu without clearing your canvas selection; press it again to clear the selection.

• Remix link previews: Shared remix links now show a per-file title and a preview card on social platforms, using a representative frame from the animation.

Enhancements

• Timeline dividers: Added a divider between the timeline toolbar tabs, and a vertical divider separating the tools from the layers section.

• Per-axis easings: Easings that move in opposite directions on each axis now play with a corrected curve.

Stability & Bug Fixes

• Addressed a canvas crash when deleting a layer used as another layer's matte.

• Fixed the error page appearing instead of the file opening when a text layer had separate, non-animated X and Y position values.

• Resolved an issue where the pivot shifted after editing the split position or anchor point of an imported layer.

• Fixed animations with per-axis easings moving in opposite directions failing to import with a Bezier control point error.

• Fixed the timeline tab strip's scroll masks showing as dark bands on non-default themes.
